At We Get You Lit, we’re proud to be an American company serving Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. We take pride in quality workmanship, reliability, and integrity. That’s why we want to be transparent about something most people don’t realize: nearly every Christmas light sold in the United States—no matter the brand or store—comes from China.
The Reality of Christmas Light Manufacturing
While we’d love to source U.S.-made products, the fact is, there are currently no large-scale American manufacturers of modern Christmas lights. Every style you see—C9 bulbs, LED minis, roofline lights, even the clips and wiring—originates overseas, almost entirely from China.
That means all lighting products used by professional installers are subject to international trade conditions, including tariffs and import costs. With recent political and economic tensions, tariffs on Chinese goods have driven up prices for many U.S. companies this season.
How We Got Ahead of the Tariffs
Fortunately, at We Get You Lit, we planned ahead. We placed our supply orders early in the year before tariff-related price hikes took effect. While some companies will be forced to raise their prices for 2025 installations, we’re not increasing ours.
